One-of-a-Kind Pulp Creation

I shaped this One-of-a-Kind Pulp Creation slowly, letting my hands and the softened fibers decide where the form needed to rise, curve, and settle. What you see is the only version that will ever exist-no mold, no pattern, just a quiet collaboration between intention and chance. Once it leaves my studio, the story of this piece continues only with you.
I began with discarded papers and plant-based fibers, pulped them back to their raw state, then rebuilt them layer by layer. The surface holds faint echoes of that past life-subtle flecks, tiny shifts in tone, edges that feel almost geological. In natural light, these details deepen, giving you something new to notice each time you pass by.
The scale makes it versatile: substantial enough to anchor a console, shelf, or sideboard, yet gentle in presence. It works beautifully in minimalist rooms that crave a single focal point, and in more layered spaces where texture and materiality matter. The muted, earthy palette pairs easily with wood, stone, textiles, and metal.
Because the core is upcycled pulp, the piece remains surprisingly light, making placement and styling simple. I seal each sculpture carefully, so it is durable for everyday living while still honoring the organic feel of the material. A soft brush or dry cloth is all you need to keep it dust-free.
If you are drawn to the idea of living with something that cannot be repeated, this sculpture offers exactly that-an eco-conscious, hand-formed object that quietly marks time with you, bearing the trace of every touch that brought it into being.
