Geometric Pulp Sculpture

This Geometric Pulp Sculpture grew from a quiet conversation between strict lines and a soft, responsive material. I began with recycled paper pulp, pressing and refining it until it held enough strength to carry edges, planes, and crisp intersections.
The finished piece is all about clarity. Faceted surfaces and bold geometric shapes step forward and recede, creating a play of shadow that shifts gently as the light moves across your room. From a distance, the form reads as clean and intentional; up close, faint textures in the pulp hint at its origin in everyday printed matter that has been given a second life.
I shaped every angle by hand rather than using molds, which means the geometry still carries the slight, human irregularities that keep it from feeling mechanical. Those small nuances are what allow the piece to sit comfortably in both minimalist and more layered interiors. It has the presence of a small architectural fragment, yet it remains approachable and tactile.
Made entirely from eco-friendly materials, this sculpture offers a way to bring structured, contemporary art into your space without adding to the weight of new production. It stands well on a console, bookshelf, or desk, where its clean lines can counterbalance softer textiles, plants, or curved furniture.
There is only one sculpture in this exact configuration of planes and proportions. Once it is chosen, I will not reproduce it. If your eye is drawn to the calm order of geometry, and you appreciate the idea of salvaged fibers holding such precise form, this piece is meant to bring that quiet discipline into your home.
