Organic Form Sculpture

This Organic Form Sculpture is my ode to the way nature rarely repeats itself and never rushes. I started with recycled paper, pulped and softened back into raw fiber, then followed its tendencies rather than fighting them. As the material thickened, I coaxed it into gentle rises and dips, letting the piece settle into a flowing, almost tidal shape.
The result is a sculpture that feels as if it might have been worn smooth by water or wind. Soft curves, rounded edges, and subtle hollows invite the fingertips, while small variations in texture recall bark, stone, or worn bone. No side is quite the same; each turn of the object reveals a new contour, a fresh line for light to travel along.
Because the form is hand-fashioned, there is an underlying sense of movement that keeps it from feeling decorative or fixed. Placed on a low table, shelf, or windowsill, it has a way of calming the space around it, suggesting a quiet, natural rhythm amid the demands of the day.
Made from recycled materials, this piece carries a gentle environmental story as well. What once filled bins or shelves now exists as a singular object, meant to be lived with over years, not seasons. Its palette and form pair easily with wood, linen, stone, and other natural elements in a room.
There is only this one sculpture in this exact configuration of curves and weight. If you are drawn to pieces that feel like they could have been found on a shoreline or forest path - yet are clearly shaped by a patient human hand - this work is intended to bring that grounded, organic presence into your home.
